A Good Book Can Change Your Life
Sunday morning, I was listening to the radio on the way to the gym and it happened to be a gospel station. I usually change it but I didn't this particular time. A lady was telling a story about how her personal trainer called her and postponed their workout for a hour, so she detoured and ended up at a coffee & bagel shop. While standing in line, her and a random person standing in line with her ended up having a full blown conversation as if they'd been friends for years. During the conversation, the random person mentioned that she'd stopped by 2 different spots before she came to this one, so it was a coincidence how they met. At this moment, I got a phone call so I missed the remainder of the story but I caught the ending. Once the random person left, a nosey customer had "overheard" their conversation and told her that God worked in mysterious ways, and that there was book called When God Winks At You that she should go and read....so I went and ordered from #amazon . As a kid, I use to think that if I prayed for something, then it would automatically happen[soon]. It wasn't until I got older and understood that God works through people to get to you, so make sure you cherish people and always be positive because you'll never know where a blessing may come from. You can order the book below.
I read this book a few years ago and it changed my perspective only a lot of shit, but business in general. Sometimes we overthink, which leads to brain farts, which turns into wasted time that leads to discouragement which leads to giving up. (Link in my bio to purchase)
"You don’t need to be a genius, you just need to be yourself. That’s the message from Austin Kleon, a young writer and artist who knows that creativity is everywhere, creativity is for everyone. A manifesto for the digital age, Steal Like an Artist is a guide whose positive message, graphic look and illustrations, exercises, and examples will put readers directly in touch with their artistic side.
When Mr. Kleon was asked to address college students in upstate New York, he shaped his speech around the ten things he wished someone had told him when he was starting out. The talk went viral, and its author dug deeper into his own ideas to create Steal Like an Artist, the book. The result is inspiring, hip, original, practical, and entertaining. And filled with new truths about creativity: NOTHING IS ORIGINAL, so embrace influence, collect ideas, and remix and re-imagine to discover your own path. Follow your interests wherever they take you. Stay smart, stay out of debt, and risk being boring—the creative you will need to make room to be wild and daring in your imagination."
Direct to Garment
minimum qty. 12
Direct to Garment (DTG) is a method where we directly apply the ink onto the t-shirt with inkjet technology. It involves a special printer, which prints the ink directly onto the garment in the desired design. DTG uses specialty inks, which are absorbed by the fibers of the garment.
- Since the DTG printer is as precise as…well…a printer, you’re able to print images in much higher detail than screen printing, and you’re not limited in colors. Because the printer can print any image, customization is simple. This is also a good option for those who don’t have a lot of money to make an up-front investment for a large batch, because each t-shirt can be ordered separately.

Screen printing is a process that involves pushing ink through a woven mesh stencil onto fabric. The stencil opening creates the space through with the ink will go, to create the design. The ink is then pushed over the mesh, pulled by an fill blade or squeegee. As the blade is pulled, the ink is pushed through the mesh, onto the garment.
- Because of the technique of screen printing, only one color can be applied at a time. Therefore, the amount of colors in a t-shirt are limited, and each layer demands more time, another screen and stencil. Screen printing is a good choice for simple designs, one solid color, and when you’re making many t-shirts of the same design at a time.
